Mission Statement

The mission of K-Form, Inc. is to create a positive and inspiring workplace fostering a spirit of respect while delivering superior service to meet and/or exceed customer requirements.

Overview

K-form began in 1980 as a contract manufacturer serving the greater Washington D.C. metro area. Through dedication to quality, K-form formed a strong reputation as a precision manufacturer. After 30 years of operation, K-Form evolved specialization in high-value, precision manufacturing supporting government and defense programs. K-Form remains flexible as a small, privately held business.

K-Form uses a lean structure with a functional management approach. For example, all supervisors work directly in the departments they manage. The training program places emphasis on cross training all employees (approximately 32 at the time of contract) to gain operational flexibility. In 2009, K-Form became ISO 9000:2008 registered. K-form uses detailed software solutions to drive management and accounting. K-Form tracks all costs including material and time through the use of real time project management software.
