Reverse Engineering
CAD data does not always exist. Decades old drawings may only exist as paper copies or as grainy scans. K-Form design services can reverse engineer from samples or legacy information to create the drawings and models necessary to manufacture.
The Story:
A valued customer had a product originally designed by a foreign supplier. Over time, environmental corrosion degraded several sub-components. No design information existed beyond general schematics. After reverse engineering, K-Form provided the expended components extending the product life-cycle.

The goal is to recreate, if not improve. K-Form uses an approach in which production and design personnel collaborate with manufacture as a goal. This focus allows us to move designs to prototyping more quickly than an isolated engineering firm.
